Valorie Delp, M. Ed.
Two Roads Learning may be six years old, but its heart is built on three decades of pedagogical expertise. Founded by Valorie Delp, Two Roads is the culmination of a 30-year career that began in the traditional classrooms of New York City and evolved into a mission-driven pursuit of educational equity.
A Unique Perspective: Educator & Practitioner
Valorie’s expertise is uniquely dual-sided. While she has taught a diverse range of students from 5th grade through adulthood, she also homeschooled her own five children from kindergarten through 12th grade and successfully into college. This personal journey informs her deep understanding of the "whole student" and the specific needs of families navigating non-traditional educational paths.
Academic & Professional Excellence
Valorie holds a Master of Education in Learning Design, with a research focus centered on effective methods for teaching neurodivergent students. This academic foundation, combined with her professional membership in the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), allows her to bridge the gap between rigorous high school academics and the complexities of college planning.

Lizzy Delp, BFA, BA
Lead Theatre Instructor
When they are not in the classroom, Lizzy is a professional actor and dancer! Notable work includes Belle from East Haddam Stage Company’s A Christmas Carol, Corbett (an actor and combatant) at The Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire, Edgar in Mississippi Shakespeare Festival’s King Lear, and a company member in the devised theatre group, Floodlight. Currently, Lizzy is rehearsing to be an Evil Stepsister in Woodbury Ballet's Cinderella.
Outside of acting, Lizzy loves directing and choreographing! Prior to working for Two Roads, they directed 12 Pound Look at Belhaven University. They have also had the privilege of choreographing What Every Girl Should Know for New Stage’s Unframed Series. Lizzy has been an assistant choreographer for Tony Award-Winning Jennifer Paulson Lee in New Art’s production of Seussical the Musical, as well as an assistant to Brandon Powers for a one-night Off-Broadway run of Loserville.
Growing up, Lizzy was a pre-professional dancer who studied at Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet. When not at their home studio, Lizzy trained at Open World Dance Foundation under Ekaterina Shchelkanova and Irina Kolpokova (Prima Ballerina of Mariinsky Ballet Theatre.) Before their senior year, Lizzy earned a full scholarship to study Russian language and dance at Moscow State Academy of Choreography (the official school of Bolshoi Ballet.)
Lizzy is extremely passionate about making arts accessible. While earning their B.F.A. in Acting and B.A. in English at Belhaven University, they led several community-oriented events for students and Jacksonians. Their favorite events include an annual Pay-What-You-Can Cabaret (raising funds for Alpha Psi Omega), leading a team of drama/literature volunteers for sophomore humanities courses, and coordinating free poetry readings at the Eudora Welty House.
